Liberals Say Even Terrorists Have Rights

New York City announced a plan today in their continuing effort to maintain an extra level of security for their citizens.

Taking a page from a system put into use in London, New York City will electronically scan and store all license plate numbers of all vehicles that enter New York City via bridges and tunnels. They will also introduce a system that will scan all vehicles for explosives residue.

The announcement of this plan brought about a general acceptance by New Yorkers...but not all. The Liberal Civil Liberties groups have expressed opposition to this plan. They said that all this scanning and information recording will violate the privacy rights of individuals.

New Yorkers who were asked what they thought of this idea said that even though it sounded like a big goal it was all right with them. These were obviously the New Yorkers who had no plans or desires to stick a car bomb in their SUV and park in a building's basement parking garage in the name of Allah.

So in the eyes of the New York City Liberals, they feel the need to step forward and protect the terrorists who they believe have a right to privacy. Thankfully these Liberals are just the way too vocal minority.
